POTATO PRICES

               Certified Blue Tag seed potatoes

RED NORLAN     The earliest red potato we carry. High percentage of #1 tubers. Nice and round with shallow eyes. Large tubers store well.

RED PONTIAC     Late season red potato. A good keeping potato. Solid tubers with a thin red skin. Does well in heavy soil.

KENNEBEC        Mid-season to late. The most popular white potato sold. Thin, white skinned, with shallow eyes. Great baking and storage potato. Very resistant to early and late blight and mosaic virus.

IRISH COBBLER      Earliest white potato. Easy to peel tubers, that have an oblong shape, shallow eyes and a smooth white skin.

YUKON GOLD      An early potato. One of the best eating varieties available, yellow skinned with pink colored eyes and has a cream yellow, buttery flavored delicious flesh. Great taste. Store well

ALL BLUE    Blue all the way through. Semi-fingerling type. A specialty potato. Makes a great lavender colored mashed potatoes.

ALL RED    Just like All Blue except red in color, skin & flesh.

ONION PLANTS

45-60 onion plants per bunch. 60 bunches per crate.

CANDY F1    Both a short and a long days type onion. Can be grown in the North or South. Produces yellow skinned, white fleshed bulb with a sweet, mild flavor. With proper care, they will keep until February or March.

WALLA WALLA     A sweet onion, that stays that way right up to harvest. This is the a popular sweet variety, that was developed in Walla Walla, Washington. Best if used soon after harvest. Yellow skinned with white, sweet flesh. Great for slicing. Long day type.

GRANEX WHITE F1    An early onion. Slightly flattened bulbs are well known for their mild sweet flavor. Does not store well. Use as a fresh garden onion. Also known as “Miss Society”. Short day type.

GRANEX YELLOW F1    An early onion. Very sweet, yellow skinned variety. To be used as a fresh garden onion only. Will not store well. Short day type. Also one of the verities compared to the Vadalia Onion.

RED HAMBURGER TYPE   A large sized, bright red, globe shaped onion with crisp red and white flesh. Good for the north or Midwest areas. Stores well. Long day.

TEXAS SUPERSWEET 1015Y    The most popular yellow onion plant we sell. The soft-ball sized, straw color globes are heat and drought tolerant. Keeps for months without losing it’s flavor. Very mild. Short day type.
